Black Widow Blu-Ray Release Date And Special Features Revealed

Black Widow just released in theaters and on Disney Plus Premier Access earlier this month, but we already know when the latest Marvel movie is coming to digital and Blu-ray–and it’s surprisingly soon. Black Widow releases on major digital platforms on August 10 and on 4K UHD Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray on September 14. Nowadays, movies get physical releases much quicker than they used to, but this is one of the fastest moves we’ve seen for a blockbuster film like Black Widow.

Marvel has also revealed the list of special features that come with the home video release of Black Widow. Check them out below:

• Nine deleted scenes
• Filmmaker Introduction Featurette: Director Cate Shortland introduces the film
• “Sisters Gonna Work It Out” Featurette: Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh discuss the training they went through and the dynamic between Black Widow and Yelena.
• “Go Big If You’re Going Home” Featurette: The cast and crew discuss the action scenes and stunts shot around the world.

Black Widow Blu-ray and Digital preorders

Preorders for digital copies and physical Blu-ray editions aren’t live just yet, but we’d expect to start seeing listings pop up soon. It’s also a safe bet retailers like Best Buy and Amazon will have collectible editions, such as Best Buy’s exclusive steelbook edition that the retailer offers for just about every Marvel movie.
